Photography Class Asst.: Recreate Steve McCurry's Style

As a part of our class assignment, we had to understand and try to recreate the photography style of famous photographers. I picked Steve McCurry, the photographer of 'The Afghan Girl', as my inspiration. His focus in portraits has majorly been the eyes of the subjects; the same has been recreated by me. He clicked on film, which gave a certain colour and quality to his images which I have tried to recreate with Photoshop.

This project was undertaken to understand the style and essence of the work of great photographers like Steve McCurry.

My project deals with portraits with the main focus being their eyes; in the typical style of McCurry's portraits.
