"When you think of beautiful islands and corals, the first name that pops into your head is probably Maldives. It is any beach lover’s paradise, so Elle India decided to discover it for you this summer. With over two thousand different atolls, they have many islands and many more beaches to offer. Once you go there is when you realize that there are beaches of all kinds. Maldives is almost always thriving with tourists, especially honeymooners from India (which I saw plenty on my flight to Male) and people on family vacations from China."
"These villas are not great; they are an absolute delight! They totally make you feel like you dropped into the lap of luxury and nature all at once. The perfect balance. Their exquisite interiors and the sound of the lapping waves below are a total treat to the senses."
"All you would want to do is go swim at every possible step; be it in a pool or the ocean. But honestly, I enjoyed my best swim in the ocean after sundown, when there was a full moon. It was probably the most memorable and beautiful moment I had on this trip."
"If you go to Maldives, you cannot skip the water villas. Just can’t. It had been on my bucket list since forever and now I finally got a taste of it at The Paradise Island Resort where we were welcomed in style with a bubbly welcome drink. The resort really turns your mind away from anything remotely stressful. It’s so pleasant on the eyes that one can think of nothing else.
The moment you step on the tarmac at the airport, you can smell the beach. You will want to rip off your shoes and run towards the sea. The people are warm and any help that you’ll need will be promptly looked after. The moment you will step outside the airport, you will spot a beach, right there! Ships docked, swaying with the waves, bustling travelers moving around, and the vast pristine blue ocean spread in front of you.
All in all, Maldives is a really really great place to vacation! The people are nice, the food is great, the place itself is beautiful. The resorts aren’t the only option to stay incase someone wants to be closer to the hustle bustle of the city. There are plenty of hotels and bed & breakfasts available in and around the cities which offer you great rooms at modest prices.
I am glad I got this off my bucket list; hope you do the same this summer!"
